If I were going to recomend to a beginer 3 strains of fowl it would be Hatch, Butcher, and Roundhead. Like any experienced breeders will tell you, Gameness (Good Hatch, Whitehackles, Regular Grey and etc.), Cutting Ability (Good Hatch, Claret, Dom, Regular Grey, Butcher, Lemon and etc.) and lastly Fighting Ability/Style like 'Smart' (Lemon, Cowan and Boston RH, Possum Sweater, Butcher, Regular Grey and etc.), 'Vertical' (Regular or Frost Grey, Kelso, Blueface Hatch, Butcher, Roundheads and etc.), 'Deliberate or Body Punchers' (Butcher, Kelso, Asil, Regular Grey and etc.) or 'Athletic' (Hi-Action Hatch, Roundheads and etc.) just to name a few are essential in a breeding programme. If you want to produce Breeding Material, buy Hi-action or Blueface TRIO, then TRIO of Kelso or Claret, Try also the Super Sweater of Firebird Gamefarm.
( Ex: Hi-Action very well cross to JJ Kelso and GREY of JOEY LACSON of Circle L Gamefarm ) same also with Biboy Enriquez of Firebird Gamefarm his JJ kelso is one of the Best kelso in the PI. If you want to produce a battlefowl buy set of TRIO with hatch blood.
